PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It’s hard to believe that next Friday (April 4) is already the last day of the third quarter of school! As we approach this important milestone, please encourage your child to communicate regularly with their teachers and to actively use Schoology to ensure all assignments and classwork are completed and up-to-date. Staying proactive now helps ensure a strong finish to the quarter.

We’ve also noticed an increase in the number of students arriving late to school in recent weeks. It’s essential that students arrive on time, ready to learn, and with the positive “can do” attitude our school community takes pride in. Arriving promptly not only helps students fully benefit from each learning opportunity but also establishes lifelong habits of punctuality and responsibility.

Additionally, please keep in mind that New York State tests for students in grades 3 through 8 are right around the corner. While we firmly believe our students are MUCH more than a test score, these assessments provide valuable insight into each student’s knowledge and skills in math, English, and science. Results from these exams help us better understand how our students are progressing, tailor instruction to meet their individual needs, and ensure they are on track to successfully access grade-level curriculum and beyond.

We deeply appreciate all our parents for their continuous support, involvement, and partnership in ensuring our students’ academic success and personal growth. Together, we will continue to nurture the outstanding potential within each of our students.

Have a wonderful week ahead!

Mr. Yorke
