PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Second Half of the School Year Thoughts …

Dear SSCS Families,

Happy New Year! Despite the extreme cold, I hope this message finds you warm, refreshed, recharged, and ready for an exciting second half of the school year. As we step into 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible sense of community and resilience that defines SSCS. Each of you—students, parents, and educators alike—plays a vital role in making our school a place where learning thrives and potential is realized.

This year holds so much promise, and we are filled with optimism as we look ahead. Our educators are eager to continue supporting students on their journeys to becoming the best versions of themselves. Whether it’s mastering a challenging subject, excelling in extracurricular activities, or simply growing into compassionate, well-rounded individuals, we are here to guide, encourage, and celebrate every step of the way.

Open communication and collaboration are at the heart of student success. We encourage families to stay actively involved, reach out with questions or concerns, and share in the joy of achievements big and small. Together, we can ensure that every student at SSCS has the tools, resources, and confidence they need to succeed.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children’s education and for being an essential part of the SSCS family. Let’s make 2025 a year of growth, learning, and meaningful connections.

Here’s to a fantastic New Year and an outstanding second half of the school year!

On the following page is  our Mid-Year Exam Schedule (finals, mind-terms, and intense review sessions will be scheduled within these timeframes). Additionally, our juniors will all be taking the ELA Regents at the end of this month, and several students will be making up Regents. Please reach out to school counselor, Ms. Blowers with any questions: lblowers@sharonsprings.org

Warmest wishes,

Mr. Yorke
