PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Parents: We’d Like to Hear From You
With the February break behind us and the long month of March ahead, I want to take a moment to reconnect with all of you. March can often feel like a marathon in the school year – there are fewer breaks, the winter still holds on, and both students and staff can feel the weight of the academic push. It’s during this stretch that our community’s strength, resilience, and support matter most.
I’d like to ask each of you to make it a point to connect with your child(ren)’s teacher(s) in the coming weeks. Whether it’s through a quick email, a phone call, or stopping by during a parent-teacher conference, your partnership is invaluable. Open communication between home and school is one of the most effective ways we can ensure your child’s success. It allows us to celebrate their achievements, address challenges early, and align our support systems to meet their needs.
Additionally, I want to hear from you about how we can make SSCS the safest, most welcoming, and most inspiring place for your children. Your insights and perspectives are vital as we strive to continuously improve our school environment. Whether it’s ideas about safety protocols, suggestions for enhancing our school culture, or feedback on how we can better inspire and encourage our students, I welcome it all.

AN AD FOR YOUR GRAD
If you would like a memorable surprise for the graduate in your life you can order an ad in the SSCS Clarion Yearbook. Your grad won’t know about it until yearbooks are distributed in June. Please note these ads are for your Graduate and not a regular Business Ad. If you would like to do a traditional business ad, please contact us so we can assist you.

SHARON SPRINGS YOUTH BASKETBALL
All students in grades 1 & 2 who still wish to participate will have skills and drills practice on 2/25, 2/28 & 3/4 from 3:00-4:00 pm in the small gym. A game will be played on. 3/7 at 4:30 pm. Students will need a note to stay after school on each of these days, and include who they will be dismissed to prior to practice. WEEKLY BULLETIN SUBMISSIONS
SSCS will continue to produce this document each week as a service to the SSCS community. Similar to last year, classified ads, such as advertisements for the sale of items, help wanted ads, etc., will no longer be accepted. Advertisements will only be accepted if it relates to a potential educational benefit for our students or it has the potential to benefit the Sharon Springs community. SSCS reserves the right to edit any submission. For consideration, please email by 3 p.m. on Tuesdays to weeklybulletin@sharonsprings.org.
