The SSCS third graders took a class trip May 31 to the Owen D. Young Nature Trail in Van Hornesville, right outside of Fort Plain. The Owen D. Young Nature Trail is a 1.4-mile out and back trail with plenty to see along the way. Our young hikers discovered many waterfalls, caves and of course, nature along their journey and built some new friendships among their large class.
