Thanks to SSCS FAA and National Honor Society student members and faculty for spending a hot morning on June 20 cleaning and preparing the Sharon Springs Rec Center for its upcoming Summer Youth Program. The SSCS FFA, under the direction of teacher/advisor Anne Allen, applied for and received a National FFA Living to Serve Mini-Grant of $400 this spring to assist in this endeavor. Grant funds were used to purchase cleaning supplies, brooms, paint, games, etc. But none of this could have been done without the efforts of our SSCS volunteers.
