Sharon Springs and our school community gathered for a Memorial Day Parade and observance on the SSCS lawn and monuments on May 27. We take time on the Memorial Day holiday to honor and mourn the 1 million U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Participating in the parade and ceremony were members of the American Legion, the SSCS Marching Band under the direction of Max Horning, ASU Soccer members and local Girls Scouts. There was a chicken barbecue and bake sale following the parade and ceremony sponsored by the SSCS Class of 2027.
