A “dance party” broke out at SSCS this fall as well welcomed the world-famous Flame the Band for a special appearance to kick off the school year. Flame is a high-energy American cover band from Gloversville made up of musicians whose members all happen to have disabilities. Their mission is to spreading hope and inspiration through their music and to demonstrate that limitations in life don’t have to hold you back from achieving success. Flame performed the classics from Elvis Presley to today’s hits from Lady Gaga. Formed in 2003, Flame gained popularity from their appearances on Good Morning America and in People Magazine.
