Congratulations to a group of SSCS FFA members who placed first in the Junior Horse Judging Contest at the New York State Fair in Syracuse over the summer. The SSCS team consisting of Sophia Insogna, Payton Rullman and Madison Lynk. The group judged six classes of horses (some Western and some English), identified tack and equipment and gave oral reasons for one of the classes, explaining why they judged the class the way they did. “Despite being short one team member, these novice ladies did an excellent job and showed great teamwork,” said SSCS FFA Advisor Anne Allen.
