CTE Students Compete at SkillsUSA Event, Robinson Captures Third Place

Congratulations to SSCS’ Giavanna Robinson, one of 31 Capital Region BOCES Career & Technical Education students to medal at this year’s regional SkillsUSA competition held March 19 in Albany. Robinson, a student in the CTE Early Childhood Education program, was part of a team that captured third place in the SkillsUSA Promotional Bulletin Board category. The 2025 Area III SkillsUSA Competition featured more than 400 students from dozens of schools testing their skills in 32 events. Other Sharon Springs students competing this year included:

  • Emily Gwozdz, Electrical Construction Wiring
  • Caitlyn Engle, Job Skills Demo
  • Joseph Nedelsky, Security Corps
